Mirror Figure was created in 2023 by songwriter Ray Libby, following his departure as a founding member of Bad Suns. With dozens of unreleased demos collected over the years, Libby set out to bring them to life, recording a handful of tracks that became the Initial Thought EP. Building on that momentum, he teamed up with producer Sam Stewart and drummer Sterling Laws to craft a new, unreleased EP, Don't Let It Last Forever.

Mirror Figure’s sound is a dynamic blend of indie rock influences, drawing inspiration from Phoenix, Alvvays, The Strokes, and The Cure to create something both nostalgic and fresh. The first single from Don't Let It Last Forever, "Apple Genius," was released in August 2024, followed by the latest single, "Lately." With shimmering melodies, driving rhythms, and a penchant for guitar riffs, Mirror Figure is here to bring new energy to the genre—while staying true to the effortlessly cool essence of indie rock.
